What is a space?

This feature is an interactable hotspot in your Virtual walk-through that provides additional information such as text, images, videos, and links, enhancing the virtual tour experience. They are used to highlight key features, offer descriptions, and create guided tours within the 3D space.
How long would it take to scan a space?

Is there a cost difference if I have a multi-story home?
Our rates are priced according to the square meterage of the internal net area of your property. Having a multi-story property shall in most cases increase the net internal square meterage as each floor has its own net internal floor area.
What happens after the online hosting runs out?
We provide multiple options of online hosting such as a monthly, bi-annually and annually. You can renew your online hosting subscription be repurchasing one of these options otherwise your space will be archived and can be viewed again once a new subscription has been purchased.
How accurate is the scanning?
The scanning process can be done with different levels of detail depending on the clients needs. There is standard, medium and high density scans that can be done. With lidar technology we are able to reach +/- 20mm at 10m.
When shall I be able to access my virtual walk-through?
Upon completion of your scan, we shall upload your space to the cloud where a registration process takes place, upon the completion of this process you shall receive access to your space. Estimated time for this process to complete is broken down below.

Do I need to be present while a Digital Surveyor is scanning my space?
Before a scan takes place, the Digital Surveyor shall need to complete a thorough walk-through of the space and ensure he / she shall be able to access all required spaces throughout the property. It is advisable that the owner of the space is present to ensure this process is carried out smoothly.
During the scanning process, a space shall be deemed off-limits. We request that no personnel are within eye shot of the camera or the Digital Surveyor. If in the case of a person being captured in a scan, the scan shall have to be erased, and the process restarted. This can cause delays in production and turn-around time of the final product.
After a scan is completed, the Digital Surveyor shall complete a walk-through of the property and ensure the space was left the way he/she had originally encountered it. It shall be safe to maneuver around the property after.
What if there are any private pictures or documents in the area that is scanned ?
During the registration process, all faces in photos, documents and any other personal items shall be blurred by our Production Team in post-processing.
Could I request BIM Files / Floorplans for my space?
At an additional cost, LiDAR accurate floorplans may be produced. The cost for these plans vary in price according to the net internal area of the space. Our Production Team promise nothing but attention-to-detail and point accurate drawings. A list of services are below:

Can I scan external spaces?
Yes! It is possible to scan external spaces.
Can a Digital Surveyor complete a scan in the rain?
Unfortunately, due to technical restrictions, and our love of keeping our Digital Surveyors more warm and dry than wet; if an external area was requested to be scanned, we shall postpone your scan to a time with friendlier weather.
